    Designer

    Soumya Gupta is a multidisciplinary designer specializing in visual, brand and interactive design. She brings big ideas to life through strategy and design thinking, while adding depth and personality with illustration and motion. Soumya is an expert in creating experiences that are smart, striking, and full of character. In this collaboration with New York Voice Center, she is excited to provide her expertise and visual design support to clients looking for branded decks or presentation materials along with any of our other communication coaching services.

Together, Jane and Ben expanded the Center’s offerings to include a new slate of team-based experiences, including their signature SEEN AND HEARD workshop, designed to align voice with leadership, empathy, and innovation.

Both Jane and Ben bring a rare blend of executive coaching, vocal pedagogy, and professional performance. They trained at Atlantic Theater Company and the Moscow Art Theatre School, drawing from the practical, goal-oriented clarity of Practical Aesthetics and the imaginative depth of the Stanislavski system to support authentic, embodied communication across disciplines.

This approach blends artistic rigor with executive relevance, helping clients connect to their voice not just as a tool, but as a strategy for leadership and influence.

Jane and Ben have bridged their performing experience with deep vocal technique and communication science to help clients shift habits, release limiting mindsets, and open new pathways toward resonance, expression, and possibility.

Founder Jane Guyer Fujita has coached over 100 productions in New York City, including work on Broadway, film, and television, as well as at institutions like NYU, Harvard/A.R.T., and Yale. Her clients have included Tony Award winners, executives, and high-level creatives working at the intersection of storytelling and strategy.

After over a decade of coaching individuals in voice, presentation, and accent skills, Jane launched New York Voice Center to offer a full-spectrum voice training program for individuals and organizations. In 2025, she teamed up with Ben Katz, a New York–based actor, teacher, and executive coach specializing in voice, speech, and on-camera presence. Ben brings extensive experience working with leaders from Google, Apple, McKinsey, Cisco, and other top firms helping them sharpen how they craft and deliver ideas, whether onstage, on camera, or in the boardroom.
